Network improves daily making it a great time to switch to Sprint

Sprint today announced that its Las Vegas network received a shared 1st place ranking for overall and text network performance, according to a new RootScore® Report by independent mobile analytics firm RootMetrics®.

Since RootMetrics’ previous test four months ago, Sprint’s median upload speed increased more than 90 percent. As for call performance, Sprint did not record any blocked calls during testing.

“Our network gets better every day as we work to deliver the consistent reliability, capacity, and speed that our customers demand,” said Eamon O’Leary, vice president of Sprint’s network in the West Region. “We’re pleased with these results and we’ll continue to invest in building and optimizing our Las Vegas network.”

Following a multi-year overhaul, the Sprint network now provides significantly better call quality and faster data speeds in more places than before. Sprint has been awarded a total of 104 first place (outright or shared) RootScore Awards for overall, reliability, speed, data, call, or text network performance in the 77 markets measured to date in the 1st half of 2015.1
