LONDON--Anglo-Dutch publishing and exhibitions company Reed Elsevier PLC (REL.LN) Thursday confirmed its outlook for the year as it reported underlying revenue growth of 4% for the first nine months of 2014.

The company, whose products include the legal research tool LexisNexis and the magazine New Scientist, said it is on track to deliver another year of underlying revenue, profit and earnings growth.
