NEW YORK, Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthSouth
Corp. (NYSE: HLS) will replace Rackspace Hosting Inc. (NYSE: RAX)
in the S&P Midcap 400 after the close of trading on
Thursday, November 3. Apollo Global
Management LLC is acquiring Rackspace Hosting in a deal expected to
be completed on November 2.
HealthSouth owns and operates inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies.
Headquartered in Birmingham, AL,
the company will be added to the S&P Midcap 400 GICS (Global
Industry Classification Standard) Health Care Facilities
Sub-Industry index.
