Among the companies with shares expected to actively trade in Monday's session are Websense Inc. (WBSN), Acquity Group Ltd. (AQ) and JA Solar Holdings Co. (JASO).

Websense has agreed to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners. Websense stockholders will receive $24.75 in cash for each share of Websense common stock, a 29% premium over Friday's closing price. Shares of Websense, which makes software and services designed to help protect companies against cyber attacks and data theft, rose 29% to $24.71 premarket.

Accenture PLC (ACN) has agreed to purchase Acquity for about $316 million in cash to expand the consulting company's digital marketing services. Accenture will pay $13 for each Acquity American depositary share, more than double the company's closing price of $5.96 on Friday. Acquity's American depositary shares rose sharply premarket to $12.82.

JA Solar's first-quarter loss narrowed as revenue increased for the first time after several quarters of declines. The Chinese solar-products maker said shipments rose 21%, topping the company's recent projection. American depositary shares rose 13% to $6.33 premarket.

Actavis Inc. (ACT) agreed to acquire Warner Chilcott PLC (WCRX) in a stock swap, coming 10 days after the companies confirmed they were in early talks about a potential deal. Drug-maker Actavis said it will swap 0.16 of a share for each Warner Chilcott share, valuing Warner Chilcott at about $20.08 a share, a 4.5% premium to Friday's close. Warner Chilcott shares rose 1.8% to $19.55 premarket, while Actavis shares rose 2.2% to $128.25.

XenoPort Inc. (XNPT) said a phase 3 clinical trial of arbaclofen placarbil for the treatment of spasticity due to multiple sclerosis was unsuccessful in demonstrating the treatment provided statistically significant improvement relative to placebo in the co-primary endpoints of the study. The biopharmaceutical company decided to terminate further investment in the program. Shares fell 26% to $5.00 premarket.

U.S.-listed Chinese information technology outsourcing firm Pactera Technology International Ltd. (PACT) said Monday a consortium led by U.S. private equity firm Blackstone Group L.P. (BX) has put forward a take-private bid at $7.50 a share. Pactera's American depositary shares rose 37% to $7.20 premarket.

Campbell Soup Co.'s (CPB) fiscal third-quarter earnings rose 2.3% as improved soup sales and last year's acquisition of Bolthouse Farms helped drive the packaged-foods maker's revenue growth. The company raised its full-year earnings estimate and now expects revenue at the high end of its earlier growth guidance.

Dell Inc. 's (DELL) special committee sent another letter to activist investor Carl Icahn and Southeastern Asset Management Inc. seeking more information about their takeover proposal, reiterating the committee can't engage in talks until determining the proposal to be credible.

Plains Exploration & Production Co.'s (PXP) board declared a special dividend of $3 a share, which is conditioned upon the oil company's completed merger with Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX). Plains Exploration shareholders are scheduled to vote on the deal Monday.

QLogic Corp. (QLGC) said Simon Biddiscombe has resigned as president and chief executive, and will be replaced on an interim basis by Chief Financial Officer Jean Hu.

Quality Systems Inc. (QSII) board member Ahmed Hussein has resigned, after years of publicly criticizing the leadership of the medical-software vendor.

Yahoo Inc. (YHOO) agreed to acquire blogging startup Tumblr for about $1.1 billion in cash, a deal that will see Tumblr continue to operate as an independent business.
