LONDON--Tiziana Life Sciences PLC (TILS.LN), a clinical stage biotechnology company, said Wednesday that it has appointed James Tripp as chief operating officer and head of global clinical operations.

Mr. Tripp previously was a director for clinical management at Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO).

Shares at 0831 GMT trading flat at 203 pence.
