Hungary's state-owned mobile operator is set to announce a tender to build network infrastructure "within weeks," political daily Magyar Nemzet reports Thursday. China's Huawei Technologies Co. and ZTE Corp. (0763.HK), Sweden's Ericsson (ERIC), and Finnish-German company Nokia-Siemens Networks have shown interest in the tender, Magyar Nemzet reports, citing industry sources. Hungary's fourth mobile service provider, MPVI Mobil Zrt., was launched by a consortium of state-owned companies: postal services provider Magyar Posta Zrt., power wholesaler MVM Zrt. and development bank MFB Zrt.
