By Katarina Gustafsson Network equipment vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NOK, SI) said Wednesday that it has signed a 4G deal with Saudi Arabian operator Zain KSA. MAIN FACTS: -Zain will use Nokia Siemens Networks as its infrastructure and services vendor for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia's second-largest city. -Zain will refarm--clear and reassign frequencies from low to high value applications--its 1800MHz GSM frequency band to 4G services. -Nokia Siemens Networks will also manage Zain's 4G network in Jeddah in addition to Zain's existing GSM and 3G networks in the city. -At 1208 GMT Nokia shares were up 4.7% at EUR2.24.
