Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) received the Company of the Year award at the Society of Hispanic Professionals (SHPE) conference held this weekend in Baltimore. The award recognized Northrop Grumman for its long term commitment to SHPE's mission and goals, efforts to enhance the achievements of Hispanics in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and its partnerships with public schools.

Tarik Reyes, vice president of business development, Northrop Grumman Information Systems, accepts the SHPE Company of the Year award from Rodrigo Garcia, a member of SHPE board of directors. Maria Sanchez, corporate manager, strategic partnerships and conference and event planning, Northrop Grumman Corporation, received the SHPE Excellence in Collaboration award on behalf of the company.

Northrop Grumman also received the SHPE Excellence in Collaboration award for the strong working relationships the company has established with SHPE and its members.
