It is the eighth year the company has published this report.

  • In 2014 Northrop Grumman achieved greater diversity in leadership among company officers and within executive-level appointments.
  • The company reduced greenhouse gas intensity (metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per million dollars in sales) by 26.2 percent from 2008 levels.
  • Northrop Grumman invested more than $15.9 million from company contributions and the Northrop Grumman Foundation to fund global STEM education programs and initiatives that are making a difference for students and their teachers.
  • More than 32 percent of Northrop Grumman procurement spending went to small, women and minority-owned business.
  • Globally, more than 99 percent of company employees completed ethics and compliance training, with the remaining one percent attributable to employees on leave, who are required to take the training when they re-enter the workforce.
