“EduCare” recognized as innovative education fund product

MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced that it won the Bloomberg Businessweek Financial Institution Award 2016 in the category of Education Fund at an award ceremony held in Hong Kong on April 29.

Launched in March 2015, EduCare is a flexible savings product designed for parents to meet the evolving needs of a child from birth through to young adulthood. EduCare is an industry-first product designed to go beyond financial assistance with the inclusion of EduCare Club, a suite of exclusive value-added services and benefits to support key stages of child development. The Bloomberg Businessweek Financial Institution Awards 2016 are presented by Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition.
