For the second time in three years, MetLife was named “Employee Benefits Provider of the Year” at the 2015 Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs). Held by the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM), the EMMAs recognize MetLife for excellence in the field of expatriate benefits and its work in providing the best end-to-end solutions for its clients.

“At MetLife, we continuously invest in our expatriate business and leverage our global capabilities in order to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their globally mobile workforce,” said Brian Sideris, regional sales director – Expatriate Benefits, MetLife. “Being named ‘Employee Benefits Provider of the Year’ is truly an honor and is a testament to our commitment to providing world-class, personalized service and products to our customers.”

The prestigious awards were created to celebrate excellence in global mobility worldwide and are the only international accolades that recognize industry leaders, business successes and rising stars. The EMMA Awards are judged by an independent panel made up of industry leaders. MetLife first won an EMMA award in 2013.

The EMMAs judging panel stated: “MetLife is continuing to expand their expatriate benefits business which is evident through their processes and innovations.”

MetLife has been a provider of expatriate programs for more than 35 years working on innovative solutions that help meet expatriates’ needs. At the center of MetLife’s expatriate benefits offering is the Regional Service Center (RSC) model. Located in key areas around the world, MetLife provides local resources close to members while on assignment. Experienced staff provide local expertise and understanding of regional differences, making it easier for the expatriate to obtain quality medical care and ensure a simple payment process to the medical provider.
