Medtronic Reiterates Announcement Timing of Its Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2015 Financial Results

DUBLIN - May 12, 2015 -
Medtronic plc (NYSE: MDT) reiterated today that on Tuesday, May 19,
2015, it will announce preliminary financial results for the fourth
quarter and fiscal year 2015, which ended April 24, 2015. A
news release will be issued on May 19, 2015, at approximately 7:30
a.m. Central Daylight Time and will be available at
http://newsroom.medtronic.com. The news release will include
preliminary revenue results for the company's fourth quarter and
fiscal year 2015, as well as an expected range of the company's
fourth quarter adjusted cash earnings per share.
As previously communicated, full financial results
for the company's fourth quarter and fiscal year 2015 will be
reported on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, two weeks later than the
company's normal reporting date due to integration of the financial
results from the company's recent acquisition of Covidien. A
news release will be issued on June 2, 2015, at approximately 6:15
a.m. Central Daylight Time and will be available at
http://newsroom.medtronic.com. That news release will include
summary financial information for Medtronic's fourth quarter and
fiscal year 2015, as well as the company's initial fiscal year 2016
earnings per share guidance and revenue outlook.
