LONDON--Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LLOY.LN) said Friday that it
has established a committee to oversee how it measures and
communicates its "customer-centric culture and values."
The bank said the Responsible Business Committee will also
oversee Lloyds' 'Helping Britain Prosper Plan' designed to
"highlight the importance of our increasing support for households,
businesses and communities across the U.K," and will be chaired by
board member Sara Weller.
Separately, Lloyds announced that Deputy Chairman Anita Frew
will succeed Anthony Watson as chairman of the Remuneration
Committee, effective October 1.
Shares at 0908 GMT, up 0.4%, at 87 pence valuing the company at
62.08 billion pounds ($99.44 billion).
