Latam Airlines Group SA's (LFL, LAN.SN) appointed Andres Osorio,
a partner at accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, to replace
current Chief Financial Officer Alejandro de la Fuente, the Chilean
holding company said late Tuesday.
Latam Airlines, Latin America's largest carrier by sales and
market capitalization, was created in June 2012 from the merger of
Chilean LAN Airlines and Brazilian carrier TAM.
Mr. de la Fuente served as LAN Airlines' CFO since 1995 and,
after the merger, held the same post at Latam Airlines.
Mr. Osorio's resume includes serving as CFO of retail holding
company Cencosud SA (CNCO, CENCOSUD.SN) for seven years. He will
assume his new post in August, Latam Airlines said in a
statement.
