CAIRO -(Dow Jones)- Egypt's state-owned wheat buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities, Thursday said it bought a total of 180,000 metric tons of Russian wheat. Of the total, GASC bought 60,000 tons of Russian wheat from Aston Agro at $245.59/ton and 60,000 tons of Russian wheat from Bunge at $246.60/ton. GASC also purchased 60,000 tons of Russian wheat from Nidera at $247.25/ton. All shipments add $17 freight from EgyBulk. The wheat is for shipment Aug. 11-20.
