U.S. Airways Group (LCC) is expected to file paperwork with antitrust regulators as early as July for a proposed merger with American Airlines parent AMR Corp. (AAMRQ), Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Creditors of AMR, which is in bankruptcy, need to weigh the proposed acquisition by U.S. Airways against AMR's own restructuring plan.
