("Protesters Disrupt Early Moments Of JP Morgan's Dimon Hearing," at 10:48 a.m. EDT, misspelled the name of the office building, in the last paragraph. The correct version follows:) By Michael R. Crittenden WASHINGTON--J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM) Chief Executive Jamie Dimon's high-profile appearance on Capitol Hill Wednesday began with a bang after a half dozen protesters were escorted from the hearing after heckling the executive. Code Pink activist Tighe Barry started yelling before the hearing even began, welcoming Mr. Dimon to the hearing room with calls of "this man is a crook" and "should be going to prison." Mr. Barry, who has a history of protesting congressional hearings, said he was upset that the bank had received government assistance during the financial crisis. "There should be no more stealing of the people's money," Mr. Barry told reporters while being handcuffed outside the hearing room. Mr. Barry was escorted out of the hearing room along with members of a group called Occupy Our Homes, who heckled Mr. Dimon about the bank's foreclosure practices. They were led by D.C.-native Deborah Harris, who said she was a retired paramedic who had been fighting with J.P. Morgan over trying to attain a mortgage modification. "Millions of people are having their houses stolen," Ms. Harris said as she was being led out of the Dirksen Senate office building in handcuffs. Write to Michael R.
