TORONTO, March 18, 2016 /CNW/ - PowerShares Canada today announced the March 2016 distributions for its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Unitholders of record on March 30, 2016 will receive cash distributions payable on April 7, 2016. Details of the "per-unit" distribution amounts are as follows:

^† A ticker symbol ending with ".U" represents U.S.-dollar-denominated units. Distributions are paid in U.S. dollars. U.S.-dollar-denominated units do not provide a currency hedge between the Canadian dollar and the U.S. dollar.

The tax composition of the PowerShares ETFs' distributions will be determined on an annual basis and will only be available after the PowerShares ETFs' tax year-end.
