DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Wealth-management firm Atlantic Trust said Wednesday it hired former City National Corp. (CYN) executive Logan Allin as head of strategy and client experience, a new position. Allin will work to improve Atlantic Trust's client service and make work easier for its advisers through technology and improved workflow procedures. He reports to Jack Markwalter, Atlantic Trust's chairman and CEO, and will work with operations and technology executives from the firm's corporate parent, the fund company Invesco Ltd. (IVZ). "Over time, we also expect Logan to be involved in other strategic initiatives, such as helping Atlantic Trust capitalize on opportunities in the family office, foundation and endowment channels," Markwalter said in a statement. Allin works out of Atlantic Trust's office in Newport Beach, Calif. In addition to City National, he has been employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers, EMC Corp. (EMC) and Capgemini (CGEMY, CAP.FR).
