Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) has formed a new group that will consolidate its electronic-trading activities, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing a memo.

The group, called Systematic Market Making, will be run by electronic trading and execution strategists under Konstantin Shakhnovich, the FT reported.
