BNY Mellon Considers Sale of Corporate Trust Arm -Bloomberg

Bank of New York Mellon Corp. (BK) is considering a sale of its
corporate trust arm and has hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) to
assist in the effort, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday on its
website, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
The bank is expected to begin soliciting bids in about a month.
A sale could bring as much as $2.5 billion, one person told
Bloomberg.
Spokesmen for BNY Mellon and Goldman Sachs declined comment to
Bloomberg.
