The Boeing Company Awards FedEx Office with
Performance Excellence Award
FedEx Office, delivering world-class printing solutions for
commercial customers’ needs, has received the 2014 Boeing
Performance Excellence Award which recognizes superior supplier
performance. FedEx Office began providing customized commercial
print production services for The Boeing Company in March 2012 as
the company’s primary print provider responsible for critical
operations, sales and large format printed materials.
To tackle The Boeing Company’s complex print demands, FedEx
Office drew from its expansive suite of commercial print solutions
and signs and graphics capabilities. For Boeing, FedEx Office is
the primary provider for all digital printing needs, delivering on
time within tight deadline requirements and leveraging its vast
national network for centralized, regionalized and localized
printing based on distribution requirements. FedEx Office is
seamlessly linked to the FedEx global shipping network, providing
the speed and reliability of the FedEx brand to ensure on time
delivery of all printed materials.
FedEx Office successfully implemented numerous customized
solutions for Boeing from introducing new production equipment to
conducting extensive, specialized training to overseeing a color
management program designed to deliver consistent, repeatable,
accurate and predictable color for precise brand and image
control.
“We are very proud and honored to receive this award,” said
Aimee DiCicco, senior vice president of sales for FedEx Office.
