A suspect in an early-morning shooting at an Atlanta-area FedEx
Corp. (FDX) facility has been found dead in a company warehouse, a
CBS affiliate reported Tuesday, citing local authorities.
WGCL said the man died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot
wound.
At least six people were injured in the shooting at the FedEx
facility, according to several reports.
Six people have been transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital
with more expected, WGCL reported, citing Cobb County, Ga., fire
and hospital officials. An unspecified number of those injured are
in surgery, the affiliate reported.
In a statement, FedEx said it is "aware of the situation" and is
cooperating with authorities. The facility is located in Kennesaw,
Ga.
