respectively. In addition to leading the Forensic & Litigation
Consulting segment in Asia Pacific, Mr. Rowell will continue to
serve as Head of the Forensic Accounting and Advisory Services
(“FAAS”) practice in the region.
Mr. Rowell is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of
professional services experience. For the last 19 years, he focused
on providing independent expertise and evidence in relation to
complex business, valuation, accounting and financial issues in
both contentious and non-contentious situations. Mr. Rowell’s work
primarily involves issues regarding the valuation of damages, the
valuation of businesses and the investigation of fraud and
corruption. Mr. Rowell has lived and worked in the UK, Australia
and Hong Kong, and has led cross-border engagements in Europe,
Asia, Africa, North America and Australia.
“Within Asia Pacific, we are increasingly going to market to
provide risk, investigations and dispute services, and given Jon’s
background and experience he is well-placed to lead and drive a
coordinated single strategy to serve clients within the region,”
said Neal Hochberg, Global Leader of the Forensic & Litigation
Consulting segment at FTI Consulting.
Ms. Junell joins FTI Consulting in its Hong Kong office where
she will serve as an Asia Pacific liaison for clients subject to
U.S. regulatory inquiry. Ms. Junell has more than 23 years of
professional experience working with both private and public
multinationals across various industries. Ms. Junell was previously
a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Prior to rejoining FTI
Consulting, Ms. Junell was a Partner at Ernst & Young. She
specializes in anti-corruption related matters, having advised
clients on large-scale international investigations, regulatory
compliance, corporate governance and compliance program design and
implementation. Ms. Junell has conducted and managed engagements in
more than 30 countries, with on the ground experience in Africa,
the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Europe. These engagements
have encompassed both reactive investigation and remediation
matters as well as proactive projects such as risk assessments,
M&A due diligence and compliance program design and
implementation, with the results of these matters presented to both
private sector clients and public regulators.
Mr. Andersen joins FTI Consulting’s FAAS practice in the Sydney
office. Mr. Anderson has more than three decades of experience in
forensic investigations and white collar crime matters, most
recently in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (“PwC”) offices in South
Africa, where he was a founding member of the Durban office. Prior
to his time at PwC, Mr. Andersen served with the South African
Police Services (“SAPS”), reaching the rank of Detective Captain
with the SAPS Commercial Crime Unit. Mr. Andersen’s extensive
forensic accounting and law enforcement experience spans both the
private and public sectors and includes investigations into
financial fraud, procurement fraud and money laundering, and
involves work in both Africa and Europe to help clients manage the
risks of fraud and corruption.
“Beth and Peter bring with them an incredible amount of insight
into the types of complex regulatory, compliance and risk issues
that our clients face on a daily basis in the Asia Pacific region,”
continued Mr. Hochberg. “Their substantial public and private
sector investigatory experience greatly expands the scope of our
service offerings not only in the Asia Pacific region, but also
around the globe.”
Mr. Rowell, Ms. Junell and Mr. Andersen bring their extensive
experience in investigatory, forensic and anti-corruption matters
to Forensic & Litigation Consulting’s growing network of 170
professionals working in 11 offices located in seven countries in
the Asia Pacific region. Their addition to the firm’s Forensic
& Litigation Consulting segment further strengthens FTI

investigation, litigation, merger and acquisition, regulatory,
reputation management, risk and restructuring services to
corporations, governments and law firms throughout Asia
Pacific.
