NEW DELHI--Ford Motor Co. (F) is recalling 48,700 units of its high-selling EcoSport compact sport-utility vehicles in India to repair faulty parts.

As part of the move, the company will install a new bundle clip on the fuel and brake lines in 48,000 vehicles. Separately, it will fix bolts in the rear seats that are prone to rupture in 700 units of the SUV, Ford's local unit said in a statement.

Ford says there have been no customer complaints, accidents or injuries due to the defective parts.
