Washington, D.C. Mayor Bowser to Support Exelon Purchase of Pepco -Washington Post

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has agreed to support
Exelon Corp.'s (EXC) purchase of Pepco Holdings Inc. (POM), the
Washington Post reported Tuesday, citing people close to the
deal.
The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia
rejected the deal in August. In September, the companies filed for
reconsideration and said they were holding settlement discussions
with the government.
