CARMEL, Ind., Nov. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ITT Technical
Institute campuses rank among the top performing two-year colleges
based on graduate earnings, according to a recent Brookings
Institution report. The rankings cover more than 3,000
colleges.
The data sample used by Brookings include the U.S. Department of
Education's College Scorecard and PayScale.
The ITT Tech campuses included in
the report did at least 88 percent better than two-year colleges
based on the value ITT Tech adds to the
median earnings of graduates 10 years after enrollment.
The report identifies college quality factors strongly
associated with higher earnings for graduates. Consistent with
these quality factors, ITT Tech
offers:
- STEM orientation – Approximately 90 percent of students are
enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math-related
fields of study.
- Curriculum value – Programs are offered in high-demand fields
of study, such as information technology, electronics, drafting and
design, business and healthcare.
"Our strong employer network also allows us to serve students
well," said Gene Feichtner,
president and chief operating officer of ITT Educational Services,
Inc. "More than 3,500 employers visited campuses last year to
participate in ITT Tech's Program
Advisory Committees and provide feedback on our courses based on
their needs."
