Paranaense de Energia - Copel (NYSE: ELPVY, ELP / Latibex: XCOP /
BM&FBovespa: CPLE3, CPLE5, CPLE6), a company that generates,
transmits, distributes and sells power, announced its results for
the third quarter of 2015.
Net income totaled R$91.4 million
in 3Q15, 60.8% lower than the R$233.4
million recorded in 3Q14, while EBITDA reached R$299.2 million, down 39.7% over the same period
of 2014. This result reflects the 2.4% reduction in Copel's total
market (comprising the sales of Copel Dis, Copel GeT and the wind
farms), and 31.2% decline in dispatch from the Araucaria TPP over
the same period last year.
