AXA today announced its plan to be a gold sponsor of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers’ (CIAB) Employee Benefits Leadership Forum in Colorado Springs, CO from May 31 – June 3, 2016.

A relative newcomer to the Employee Benefits space in the U.S., but supported by a strong global presence as a member of one of the world’s largest insurers, AXA S.A., the Employee Benefits team has been focused on introducing their offering, with emphasis on a groundbreaking EB360SM user platform, to benefit brokers and other distributors in the U.S.

“Now more than ever, the relevancy of our unique value proposition, “Powerfully Simple,” is at its peak,” said Hervé Balzano, Head of AXA Employee Benefits. “AXA’s commitment to embracing a digital future, the transformation within the insurance industry, and the importance of becoming more customer-centric are clearly apparent within all tiers of our global organization.” Balzano’s reference aligns to recent news of an incoming CEO for AXA S.A., Thomas Buberl, who has announced his intention to focus on transforming the growth model through a more digital future. “Our EB360SM platform, built from the ground up, is intended to provide a more customer-friendly, intuitive user experience -- one that is superior to our competitors’ offerings. We’re excited to showcase this functionality to attendees at the conference again this year.”

As part of AXA’s gold sponsorship, Jim Long, Head of Distribution, AXA Employee Benefits, will kick-off the first day of the conference and introduce the keynote speaker, Dr. Ben Carson -- Emeritus Professor of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, recipient of the 2008 Presidential Medal of Freedom and recent candidate for the Republican nomination in the 2016 presidential election. Attendees are invited to visit AXA’s Dickinson Cottage at The Broadmoor, where there will be live demonstrations of the technology platform, EB360SM, and also attend the AXA-sponsored cocktail reception on June 1.

AXA’s suite of employee benefits products includes dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, deductible insurance, hospital-plus, and critical illness.
