Norwegian oil and gas major Statoil ASA (STO) said Monday that production from the Oseberg Delta 2 field in the North Sea started Saturday.

The field's recoverable reserves are estimated at 77 million barrels oil equivalent and the total investment is slightly less than NOK7 billion, it said.
