FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- German household consumer products maker Henkel AG & Co. KGaA (HEN.XE) Thursday said it plans to appeal against a fine imposed by France's antitrust authority for cartel infringements. "Henkel doesn't agree with either the fine or the legal conclusions," Henkel said in a statement. The company said it doesn't expect the ruling to have any impact on its full-year guidance for 2011 or its financial targets for 2012. Earlier Thursday, the French antitrust authority imposed a combined fine of EUR361 million on laundry detergent makers Henkel, Unilever NV (UNA.AE), Colgate Palmolive Co. (CL) and Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) for forming a cartel between 1997 and 2004 to coordinate prices to French retailers. - By Harriet Torry, Dow Jones Newswires; +49 69 29725 511; harriet.torry@dowjones.com (Inti Landauro contributed to this article.)
