Honeywell Authorizes China Eastern Airlines to Repair Aircraft Components

Honeywell International Inc. (HON) Thursday said it has signed a
deal with China Eastern Airlines Corp. Ltd. (600115.SH) making it
the first company in China to repair aircraft auxiliary power
units.
China Eastern will be the first warranty and third party repair
center in China for the 131-9 series power units, according to a
statement from the U.S.-listed aircraft components maker.
Honeywell will provide China Eastern with engineering expertise
and support as part of the deal, it said.
Honeywell auxiliary power units are found on many aircraft
worldwide and are available in 20 basic models and 339 variants. To
date, Honeywell has delivered more than 93,500 APUs since 1952, it
said.
