Vivendi SA's (VIV.FR) Universal Music Group was scheduled to meet European Union regulators Thursday to discuss Universal's proposed concessions related to its planned $1.9 billion purchase of EMI Music, Bloomberg News reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. After European regulators had voiced objections to the deal, which would give Universal-EMI a market share of well over 40% in some countries, Universal proposed concessions that reportedly included the sale of Parlophone Records and other assets.
