Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. (“Buenaventura”) (NYSE: BVN; Lima Stock Exchange: BUE.LM), Peru’s largest publicly traded, precious metals mining company announced today the resolutions of the Company´s Annual Shareholders´ Meeting held March 29, 2016.

The following resolutions were approved:

        1.   Approval of the 2015 Annual Report.   2. Approval of the Financial Statements as of December 31, 2015.   3. Appointment of Ernst and Young (Paredes, Zaldivar, Burga y Asociados) as External Auditors for fiscal year 2015.   4. Approval of the Company´s Shareholders´ Meeting Rules and Procedures Document.

Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. is Peru’s largest, publicly traded precious metals Company and a major holder of mining rights in Peru. The Company is engaged in the mining, processing, development and exploration of gold and silver and other metals via wholly owned mines, as well as through its participation in joint exploration projects.
