German media company Bertelsmann AG Tuesday said its supervisory board has agreed for Judith Hartmann to become the company's new chief financial officer before the end of the year. MAIN FACTS: -Hartmann will succeed Thomas Rabe as CFO, and will also become a member of the firm's group management committee. -Hartmann is currently the CFO of General Electric (GE) Deutschland, and prior she held the same position at GE Healthcare Latin America, GE Water Europe, Middle East and Africa and GE Healthcare Systems at the Sao Paolo, Vienna and Wauwatosa offices. -Write to the Frankfurt Bureau at djnews.frankfurt@dowjones.com
