BUDAPEST -(Dow Jones)- Magyar RTL Televizio Zrt., the Hungarian arm of RTL Group SA (RTL.BT), received regulatory clearance Wednesday for two acquisitions which will expand its television channel portfolio. RTL Group is owned by German broadcaster Bertelsmann AG. Magyar RTL received approval from the National Infocommunications Authority, or NMHH, for the acquisition of two production companies--Hungary's IKO Televisions Kft and IKO Romania Srl, NMHH said in a press release. If the deal is concluded, Magyar RTL will acquire six entertainment channels based outside Hungary and one in Hungary, NMHH said, without naming the countries.
