LONDON--Industrial services company Cape PLC (CIU.LN) said Thursday that it has secured a new contract worth 9.8 million pounds ($15.31 million) from oil company BP PLC (BP.LN).

Under the contract, Cape will provide its services to support the hook-up and commissioning of BP's two new platforms on its Clair Ridge development within the Clair field. The Clair Ridge development is located 75 kilometers west of Shetland Islands, U.K.

Shares of Cape at 0810 GMT trading 0.2% higher at 234 pence.
