Keith Parker has joined Barclays PLC as head of global asset
allocation research for the Americas.
Mr. Parker joined after 14 years with Deutsche Bank, where he
was most recently a senior strategist on the bank's global asset
allocation team. He will take on a similar role at Barclays, and
will make recommendations across different asset classes to the
bank's clients. Deutsche Bank declined to comment.
He replaces Michael Gavin, who is moving to Barclays' newly
created position of global macro strategist. In his new job, Mr.
Gavin will focus primarily on global economic trends.
