(BCR) disclosed Tuesday that its Davol Inc. subsidiary has voluntarily recalled a surgical-graft product called XenMatrix that is used in hernia and abdominal wall repair. The medical-device maker said its previously issued guidance for the fourth quarter last year and full-year this year remains unchanged despite the recall. The company disclosed the event in a brief filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, where it said the recall started on Friday. It did not describe a reason for the recall, and a spokesman could not be reached for immediate comment on the matter.
