By Kate Gibson, MarketWatch U.S. stocks rose Tuesday after an upbeat report on the housing market and consumer-electronics chain Best Buy Co. Inc. (BBY) reported earnings and revenue that beat estimates. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) rose 37.08 points to 12,541.56. The S&P 500 Index (SPX) added 8.2 points to 1,324.22. The Nasdaq Composite (RIXF) gained 13.19 points to 2,860.40. The U.S. National Association of Realtors reported existing-home sales rose 3.4% in April. Keeping sentiment in check, Fitch lowered Japan's long-term foreign currency rating, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development projected global growth would ease to 3.4% in 2012 from 3.6% last year.
