Dow Jones News
2345 GMT [Dow Jones] Australia's sharemarket is set to open flat
Monday, suggesting a rather quiet weekly start with no major
macroeconomic news scheduled. Futures prices indicate the
S&P/ASX 200 could climb a mere 2 points to 5749 when trading
begins. Stocks to watch are paint maker Dulux (DLX.AU), which
posted a decline in first-half profit Monday, and the market debut
of South32 (S32.AU), the new spinoff company of mining giant BHP
Billiton (BHP.AU) whose valuation is roughly estimated at US$10
billion. South 32 will commence trading at 0200GMT.
