China Southern Airlines Co. (1055.HK) has agreed to buy 12 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners from the U.S. aircraft maker for a combined list price of US$3.25 billion.

The Guangzhou-based airline said Wednesday it will take delivery of the planes, which have a list price of US$271 million each, from Boeing Co. (BA) between 2018 and 2020. The Chinese state-owned airline plans to fund the purchase with internal resources and bank loans.
