By Nikhil Gulati NEW DELHI -(Dow Jones)- National carrier Air India Ltd. will receive later this month the first 787 Dreamliner jet from Boeing Co. (BA) and will use the aircraft on the Mumbai-London route, the country's civil aviation minister said Wednesday. Flights to Australia using the new long-haul planes will follow in September, Ajit Singh told a news conference. Air India, which ordered 27 Dreamliner jets in 2006, will take delivery of three Dreamliner planes this month, he said. He said also that a panel of cabinet ministers will discuss the compensation that Air India will seek from Boeing for the delay in delivering the Dreamliners. Mr. Singh declined to disclose the compensation amount but said Air India and Boeing have come to an agreement on the matter. Write to Nikhil Gulati at santanu.choudhury@dowjones.com
