By Alexandra Scaggs OF DOW JONES NEWSWIRES NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Janney Capital Markets has added Sameer Gokhale to its equity research team, where he will cover specialty finance firms. He was previously with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, where he covered companies such as American Express Co. (AXP), CIT Group Inc. (CIT) and SLM Corp. (SLM). Gokhale will work out of Janney's New York office. "Sameer's performance in the specialty finance sector is widely acknowledged in the industry," said Gary Schatz, Janney's director of equity research.
