February 14, 2017, Air Products issued a press release confirming that it sent a letter to Yingde Gases Group Company Limited (“Yingde”) clarifying certain statements made by Yingde in relation to Air Products’ previously announced
preliminary, non-binding indication of interest to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Yingde. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
