Item 7.01   Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 9, 2016, Versum Materials, Inc. (“Versum”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., issued a press release announcing the offering under Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), subject to market and other conditions, of $425 million aggregate principal amount of Versum’s senior unsecured notes.

A copy of the Versum press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
