Dutch financial services company Aegon NV (AGN.AE) said Tuesday that its chief financial officer Darryl Button is stepping down to return to the U.S. with his family.

The company said the process for selecting a successor is underway. Mr Button was with the company for 17 years, including four years in the Netherlands.
