Work would come under $11.5 billion
governmentwide contracting vehicle
Accenture Federal Services has qualified to provide human
capital strategy, training and development, and
performance-improvement services to U.S. federal agencies under an
$11.5 billion Human Capital and Training Solutions Contracts
(HCaTS) award vehicle.
Under the contracting vehicle, Accenture will be able to offer
U.S. federal agencies a variety of human capital, training and
related services, including professional management and leadership
development; human capital strategy consulting services; human
resources (HR) and HR-management temporary services (training
delivery, HR staff augmentation); information technology support of
HR systems; development of HR systems; and organizational
performance improvement, including organizational transformation
and business process reengineering.
The HCaTS award vehicle will be administered by the U.S. General
Services Administration on behalf of the U.S. Office of Personnel
Management, which will be responsible for HCaTS policy oversight to
ensure that federal agencies are properly matched with HR solutions
that best meet their needs. HCaTs contract sales are expected to be
about $1 billion per year over 10.5 years.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to provide the federal
government with such a broad range of human capital and HR
services,” said Elaine Beeman, who leads Accenture’s work with
federal civilian agencies. “A survey we conducted last year found
that attracting and retaining top talent is among the top concerns
of defense- and civilian-agency executives, so we’re pleased to be
able to provide federal agencies with such mission-critical
services. In addition, having built many of the large federal HR
systems operating today, we are deeply familiar with
federal-specific HR processes and policies, and that insight helps
us better support our federal clients who are addressing complex
human capital challenges.”
