Chinalco, Rio Tinto JV Likely To Start Exploration Next Month -Chinalco, Rio JV Executive

TIANJIN, China -(Dow Jones)- Chinalco Rio Tinto Exploration Co. will likely start exploration operations next month after it obtained approvals from relevant government authorities, a company executive said Monday. The company, a joint venture between Aluminum Corp. of China, or Chinalco, and Rio Tinto PLC (RIO) "got approval for company establishment last week," Chief Executive Andrew Cole said during an industry conference.
