Apple Inc. plans to launch its first in-car operating system
with Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo, the Financial Times
reported.
The official announcement of Apple's deal will be made at the
coming week's Geneva Motor Show, the FT reported on its website
late Friday, citing unnamed sources. A number of other
manufacturers are expected to incorporate it into models this year,
the FT reported.
Ferrari is a division of Italy's Fiat SpA, Volvo is owned by
China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. and Mercedes-Benz is a
division of Daimler AG of Germany.
